Tooth Number: 4 Prognosis: Fair to Good.
Notes: I would not be as confident about the expected prognosis for this tooth if tooth #6 -also diagnosed with severe internal resorption perforating the root surface-had not responded so well to treatment. Previously, I treated most resorption cases with long-term use of CaOH prior to completion. Here, I used Sonendo’s Gentle Wave Procedure and obturated immediately after with bio-ceramic sealer and Continuous Wave Condensation. Note the fascinating, irregular path of the resorptive defects, highlighted by the obturation materials.
