Maxillary Canine 11-001

TrueTooth™ Maxillary Central Incisor Replica 11-001

Difficulty Factor: 1.5*

This maxillary canine is great for beginners as the canal is large and relatively straight. Its only challenge is a receded pulp chamber, however it is within 2mm’s of the lingual surface. This makes it an effective replica for mental imaging that you must develop for anterior access procedures, yet the pulp chamber is large enough so you can find it—directly or after searching around a bit. Apically, the canal has a couple of very slight jinks but its terminal diameter size of .4mm allows for the simplest negotiating procedures. Most notable is the fairly large .3mm diameter lateral canal projecting off the primary canal 2mm short of the foramen-—a perfect test of shaping and gauging skills, as it is only filled when shaping and irrigation techniques are done correctly.
