Maxillary Molar 14-001

TrueTooth™ Maxillary Molar Replica 14-001

Difficulty Factor: 3*

This maxillary left first molar has a large pulp chamber and canals. The ovoid MB orifice bifurcates 1mm below the orifice into MB1 and MB2 canals that each have their own portals of exit. The MB1 canal has an immature apex measuring of .70mm at the foramen, making this is an excellent anatomic form to teach MTA placement in small molar canals with open apices. The MB2, having more mature terminal morphology (.25mm), is easily shaped and filled with conventional methods, while the DB and P canals require careful apical gauging to confirm adequate apical resistance form has been developed.
