Maxillary Premolar 5-002

TrueTooth™ Maxillary Premolar Replica 5-002

Difficulty Factor: 1*

This two-rooted upper bicuspid has an uncalcified large pulp chamber and relatively large canals. The buccal root, with a terminal diameter of .18mm, has a slight-moderate lingual curvature, however the large size of the canals keeps the difficulty factor low. The lingual canal is nearly straight but has a bit larger terminal diameter of .32mm, making it a good replica to teach apical gauging and its importance to the apical accuracy of obturation procedures.
