Lecture: Mastering imaging diagnosis in Endodontics
WORK CLOSELY WITH DR. BUCHANAN & DR. BRUNO AZEVEDO Radiographic imaging is essential to the clinical practice of endodontics. The recent addition of CBCT to the clinician’s armamentarium overcomes many of the limitations related to conventional two-dimensional imaging. The increased information obtained from three-dimensional imaging may improve all phases of endodontic care. CBCT has significantly impacted how clinicians diagnose, treatment plan and manage cases in modern endodontic practice. This case-based presentation will highlight the principles, advantages and clinical applications of CBCT in endodontics. Lectures and cases will cover evidence-based practice techniques, focusing on advanced 3D navigation of small high resolution CBCT volumes. Our goal is to help endodontists and other CBCT users to gain confidence on HOW to better use this imaging technology and learn a proven systematically sequence on how to better interpret CBCT scans regardless of the 3D scanner of their choice.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to
